Dallol and Ertale by surface
Duration: 11days, 10nights
Day1: Arrive in Addis Ababa, make city tour. Over night Ghion Hotel.
Day2: Drive Addis to Bilen Lodge and visit Afar Village. Lunch at Awash. Over night Bilen Lodge.
Day3: Drive Bilen to Logia. Lunch at Mile. Over night Tigist Hotel.
Day4: Logia to Afdera.
Arrive early in the after noon to prepare the paper and the police men, (paper for kurswad). Overnight camping.
Day5: Leave early in the morning and reach Kurswad for Lunch, early afternoon drive to base camp near Ertale.
Early dinner around17:00or 18:00 and trek up the Ertale at 20:00. Over night camping.
Day6: Return from Ertale to the base camp, leave after an early break fast, if possible at 6:30A.M you will reach latest at10:30 A.M at the camp, drive to Kurswad for over night.
Day7: Drive early Kurswad to Hamed Ila then Dallol stay over night in tents at Dallol.
Day8: Drive first to Arho to see the Salt excavation. Over night same place in Tents.
Day9: After Breakfast drive to Mekele. Over night Axum Hotel.
Day10: Drive from Mekele to Kombolcha. Over night Tekele Hotel.
Day11: Drive Kombolcha to Addis Ababa. Day use room at Crown Hotel, Fare well dinner and Departure.
